Partnership Types

We have designed five distinct partnership models to fit different business types, capabilities, and goals. Choose the one that aligns with your strengths, or combine multiple types for maximum revenue potential.

Referral Partner

You know businesses that need pallets but you are not in the pallet business yourself. As a referral partner, you earn a commission on every order that results from your introduction. Ideal for freight brokers, commercial real estate agents, business consultants, and industry association members who interact with pallet-consuming businesses.

Reseller Partner

You sell pallets to your own customers but do not manufacture or recycle them. As a reseller, you purchase from us at wholesale pricing and sell under your own brand or as a Pallets West Coast authorized dealer. We handle production, grading, and can drop-ship directly to your clients.

  • Color Palette: Co-branded materials use our brand colors (teal, amber, cream) combined with your primary brand color. Our design team creates harmonized layouts at no cost.
  • Messaging: All partner communications must accurately represent our products and services. We provide approved product descriptions and claims. Custom messaging requires approval.
  • White-Label Option: Reseller partners at Silver tier and above can request white-label materials where only your brand appears. Product quality and origin are disclosed to the end customer.
  • Digital Presence: Partners may feature Pallets West Coast on their website with approved badges and product descriptions. We provide embeddable product widgets and landing page templates.
  • Approval Process: All new co-branded materials are reviewed within 3 business days. Minor customizations (logo, contact info) do not require review. New claims or messaging do.

How to Advance

Gold is our highest tier. Partners who consistently exceed Gold minimums are eligible for custom partnership agreements with tailored terms.

Tier Evaluation Policy

Tiers are evaluated every quarter based on your rolling 6-month performance. Partners who fall below their tier requirements for two consecutive quarters will be notified and given a 90-day grace period before tier adjustment. Upward tier changes take effect the month after qualification criteria are met. All partners who are currently active and meeting their tier requirements retain their benefits indefinitely -- there is no annual re-certification requirement. We believe in rewarding sustained performance, not creating unnecessary administrative burden.

How long does it take to become a partner?

The application review process takes 5-10 business days. Once approved, onboarding includes a kick-off call, portal access setup, and materials delivery. Most partners are fully operational within 2-3 weeks of application.

Is there a cost to join the partner program?

No. There is no application fee, membership fee, or ongoing cost to participate in any of our partner programs. You earn from the partnership; you never pay to be part of it.

Can I be more than one partner type?

Yes. Some of our partners operate in multiple capacities. For example, a logistics company might be both a logistics partner (backhaul collection) and a reseller partner (selling pallets to their warehouse clients). We will structure your agreement to cover all applicable roles.

What geographic areas do you need partners in?

We are actively seeking partners in the Portland metro area, the Seattle-Tacoma corridor, Northern California (Sacramento, Bay Area), and Southern Oregon (Medford, Grants Pass). However, we welcome partner applications from anywhere in the western United States.

Do I need experience in the pallet industry?

Not necessarily. Referral partners require no pallet industry experience at all. Reseller and logistics partners benefit from existing customer relationships in industries that use pallets but do not need pallet-specific expertise. We provide training, materials, and ongoing support to help you succeed.

How do I track my referrals and commissions?

All partners receive access to our partner portal, which provides real-time visibility into referral status, order values, commission accruals, and payout history. You can export reports at any time for your own accounting.

Can I terminate the partnership if it does not work out?

Absolutely. Our partner agreements include a 30-day termination clause with no penalties. We want partnerships that work for both parties, and we will never hold you to an arrangement that is not delivering value.
